Day 1 of my work project here in Korea. It actually went surprising well after a minor glitch this morning, and I was finished an hour earlier than expected. It was cold and dreary (though I guess at least it wasn’t snowing!) I forgot how cold Korea is, and I don’t mean just the outside temperature. I forgot how Koreans don’t like to turn up the heat when it is cold outside. I get why they have this mentality, but for a spoiled westerner who is always cold and used to wasting heat for my own personal comfort, I was shivering all day!
Enough talk . . . . . here’s some pics I took while wandering around the city during my time off.
Outside my hotel is this park which has different things including stations for people to “make their exercises”. I mainly saw young children, old ladies and men in buisness suits! |
P.S. I hope you had a great party on the weekend AJ. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it next year!
P.P.S. Happy Birthday Steph!!
Go and make your exercises! Glad you got something better today than the pork chop and gravy you had the day before. Yummy!
What the heck is all this stuff?? We want captions! We want captions!
