Entering Other Dimensions

Entering week two of our program and not sure how to put things that we’ve been learning and doing here into words.  On the one hand it’s been a wonderful review/refresher.  We’re working with the elements of earth, water, fire & air which I focus on and teach in my chakra yoga classes, and one of the teachers here was also trained by my teacher (David) in the Philippines.  On the other hand it’s a lot of new information and very much a process of working on yourself, so a lot of “stuff” comes up – both the good stuff and the not so good/fun stuff!  Definitely been a few ups and downs, but overall I am very grateful to be here and once again have access to knowledge from a wonderful teacher.  We do have a lot of free time to integrate and digest this new information as well as to try out new and different things.

Days basically consist of a yoga class in the early morning, breakfast, metaphysics class, lunch, a big stretch of free time and then meditation just before supper.  We currently have a rotation going of DawnO cooking, me cooking and then going out to eat at a cheap, local, super friendly little restaurant where DawnO gets to practice her Spanish and we get a break from fighting for space in an overcrowded kitchen.  So far, most of my free time has been spent reading, writing, wandering around town, getting groceries, going to kirtan, and trying a cacao ceremony with breath work (wow!!  breath work is my “thing” which seems to help me really open up and “feel it”).  Currently I’m doing an extra course in breathwork (hoping it’s something that I can eventually bring back with me to share someday) and there’s a few other things I’d like to try while I’m here and have the chance.
Today was our day off, so we got up at 4AM to get a ride to “Indian Nose” mountain which we climbed up to see the sunrise.  Awesome!!  Yep . . . . . it’s times like this when I know that I have nothing to complain about . . . . . I am one amazingly lucky girl!

Around town
For awhile there, I was being woken up in the middle of the night by the moon shining in my face!!
I cheated with these next few pics (thanks google!!) as we are not allowed electronics in the pyramid where we do all of our classes.  Very good energy in that place!

Waiting for the sunrise
Yep . . . . . getting up before 4AM was totally worth it!
